Updates: Andhra Pradesh High Court on 21-3-2012 directed the AP government to accept the applications from all the eligible candidates irrespective of their medium of study for the appointment teachers in Model schools. The judge directed the commissioner and director of school education to modify the online application programme to receive applications from all the eligible candidates possessing required educational qualifications till 4 pm of March 27.-Deccan Chrinocle
RMSA, AP is starting 355 new Model Schools in Educationally Backward Mandals in AP. These Model Schools will start functioning from 2012-13 academic year. In these Model schools there will be classes from 6th to Inter with co-education in English Medium. But this year Model schools start with classes 6th to 8th and Inter first year.
AP new model schools teacher jobsOnline APPLICATION will available on website http://apms.cgg.gov.in from 29-02-2012 to 16-03-2012 for recruitment to the posts of Principals, Post Graduate and Trained Graduate Teachers for Model Schools in the State through State Selection Committee. All applicants have to pay a fee of Rs.250/- towards application processing for the recruitment test for each post through APONLINE or e-seva between 28-02-2012 to 15-03-2012. The last date for payment of fee is 15.03.2012 and the last date for submission of application online is 16.03.2012.
Application through online will be given on website http://apms.cgg.gov.in   Available from 28.02.2012. For PGTs & TGTs Applicants maximum age of 39 years as on 1st July 2012. The maximum age limit is 5 years relaxed to SC, ST, BCs and 10years to Physically Challenged.
Principal post applicants shall be between 35 and 50 years as on 1st July 2012. The Principal Post being Stat2. Tde, they may be posted anywhere in the State. The Posts of PGT and TGT being Zonal, they may be posted anywhere in their selected Zone.
Model Schools recruitment 2012 written tests are scheduled on 10-05-2012 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for PGTs and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for TGTs. For Principal posts From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on 11.05.2012. The Question paper will be in English Medium except for Telugu and Hindi subjects. Structure and content of the written test and syllabus will be made available on 22 -02-2012 in the web sites.
  • Applicants must have studied in English Medium at any two levels of School, Junior College and Degree College except for the post of Telugu & TGT (Hindi).
  • TGT applicants must have passed A.P TET Paper-II or its equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Computer Applications Desirable.
Qualifications for Candidates for selection to the posts of Principal, PGT, TGT:
1). Principal:
i) Two year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional Institute of Education of NCERT; (or) Master’s Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate. ii) B.Ed. or equivalent teaching degree. B. Experience: (a) Persons holding the post of Principals in the recognized senior secondary schools in English Medium (or) equivalent institutions.
2). PGT: i). Two year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject or Master’s Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
3). TGT: A. Academic Qualifications: i). Four year Integrated degree course from Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate ; or Second Class Bachelor’s Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50%.
