e-Certificate UGC NET:
December 2012 UGC NET results are declared, candidates who qualified the UGC-NET, roll numbers list are given in below pdf file. This year for JRF total 3669 candidates are qualified, the candidates are also eligible for Lectureship.
Total 35557 candidates provisionally qualified the UGC-NET for eligibility for Lectureship. They are eligible for recruitment as Lecturers throughout the country. The UGC-NET qualifiers will get e-certificate, this shall be available for downloading on the user profile created by the candidates while filling and submitting their NET online application forms.
e-Certificate UGC NET:
Downloading of UGC- NET e-certificate is only for the candidates who had applied in UGC NET in online mode. NET qualified Candidates who still not have received their e-certificate, can download the same here. Please provide the details of Roll Number, Date of Birth, Year of Exam, Session of Exam, which you have to submit in UGC NET e-Certificate download online application form.

Sir I would like to tell u that I along with my friend,Sarika karle filled the NET 2012 application form and sent it by post as UGC site server was down, it was declared by UGC itself to sent the application forms by post.So we don't have our login ID password to download the e certificate. nothing to worry till u have your register number you can get your e-certificate without any problem...
Deletehi.. ugc will update the link to download the e-certificate within the next 15 days... once the notification is given you can use your register number and date of appearance to download the e-certificate.. even those who applied offline can use the details as above to obtain e-certificate.. best of luck friends...

Will the court case filed by Kerala students affect our e certificate distribution or even our result? I seriously do not understand why the students are agitating so much. When the test has become objective, cut off definitely can't go back to 55% or 50%. I genuinely feel sorry for the students who have secured 64. something and have just missed it. But then that's life. Even some points make a lot of different between winners and losers in any competition including running.

ReplyDeleteThe guys that have filed case should concentrate on their studies so that they can clear the NET and make their career because all the things were very clear in exam notification of UGC that minimum cut-off was only a criteria and UGC will further decide the selection process and that has happened?
Guys it is a qualification to be teachers in higher education and if you can not score 65% in a exam (in spite of being objective) then keep on improving yourself and not blame the UGC.

Deletei fully agree with UGC guidelines. since its the first time that UGC made exam in objective mode, definitely cutt-off has to go high. and UGC very reasonably decided to limit in 55%, 60% and 65%. IT could be 70%, 75% or 80%. limiting in 65% is very reasonable and it gives weightage of the exam. AND if not, the difficulty level of the exam has to be very high to limit in 35%-45% as before.the failed candidates are developing negativity and nothing else. They should know the difference between criteria marks and cut-off marks.

I think u r from different branch may be science or arts , If commerce and management student qualifying in NET exam u should not bother about there result becaz if they passed or not passed u r not going get job in ur field until u clear ur subject group better u concentrate on ur subject. intellegent hai to 60-65% number bhi kyu nahi aate tere

DeleteYesterday Kerala High Court has struck down UGC's criterion as illegal. So more candidates are now eligible (Supreme Court intervention is also possible). So more waiting time for e certificate.

Accordingly, UGC will prepare separately, two lists, i.e., a list of the candidates who will qualify for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship both, and the second list of the candidates who will be declared qualified for Eligibility for Lectureship only.
This is for December 2012 examination. What about e certificate for June 2012 candidates. A few candidates state they have already got the certificate in their login id. But I am still waiting for the same.

AS per today Times of India, UGC guidelines struck down by Supreme Court. Lots of new candidates now eligible. So one could expect further delays in e-certificate issue.
ReplyDeleteI Dont understand the logic behind the late/delay in the issue of E certifictae Becaz in any case those who qualified with given latest criteria will consider to be pass only. So what ever the decision going to come from supreme court, those who passed with 65% , 60% and 55% respectivly will going to be consider pass only. Atleast UGC should issue the Certificate for those student.

See how the apex body like UGC behave. then what we expect from other universities and colleges? If UGC is giving such type of treatement to potential teachers, then what will be the future of India? Why ministers are not looking into such matter? As per UGC rule, every university should declare result in 40 days of exam, and should issue marksheet in 15 days from result. UGC itself not follow this provision.

ReplyDeleteThe University Grants Commission (UGC) is mulling "legal recourse" against the Kerala High Court decision declaring as illegal the new norms of qualifying marks fixed for National Eligibility Test (NET) for college and university lectureship, conducted in June this year.
ReplyDelete"We are thinking on a legal course of action," a senior UGC official said, not wishing to be named.
He, however, said that a new notification with regard to the procedure and criteria for declaration of result of UGC NET to be held on Sunday has been announced on commission's website.
UGC had suddenly fixed the higher aggregate marks for three categories just before the announcements of results of the examination held in June 2012. After a number of candidates approached Kerala High court, it declared as illegal the new norms fixed by UGC for the NET. The court had held that fixing of higher aggregate marks for three categories, that too just before the announcements of results, cannot be justified as the same was "not supportable by law".
It also declared that all those who have obtained minimum marks prescribed in the notification have cleared NET and appropriate follow up action be taken to issue certificates to them within one month.
By changing the standards at the final stage and just before declaration of results, "it can be definitely be seen that it affected adversely the expectations of a large number of candidates", the court had said.
As per the new norms, candidates in general category have to score aggregate of 65% in all three NET papers to be eligible for college and university lectureship while OBC candidates need to score 60% and SC/ST candidates 55%.
Previous norms had stipulated that the general category had to get 40% in Paper I and Paper II and 50% in Paper III. In case of OBC, SC/ST students, the qualifying percentage was 35, 35, 45 and 35, 35, 40 in all three papers. The declaration of new norms had been opposed by students who appeared in the examination in June this year.

Also the heat of court cases on UGC is increasing. So one does not know if UGC will stop the process of e certificate issuance.

I had qualified for UGC NET JUNE 2012 for lectureship in the supplementary list. I used the same profile for applying UGC NET DEC 2012. I am not able to find the E-certificate in my profile( now it is updated by DEC 2012 NET information). Kindly tell if I can get the E-certificate for June 2012 - Jeena

Net certificate of computer sc will available in last week of january or first week of february.They are uploding serialy .
DeleteAs far as I know before uploading e-certi UGC will ask us to send the hard copies of our marksheets to UGC office & that may be conveyed in our ID.....

Ok, It's available only when you login through your email & not by mobile number..

ReplyDeleteI cleared my NET exam in Management ...in june 2012..when i logged in to download my e- certificate....UGC instructed in my log in ID to submit the hard copy of my documents at their respective address...I did the same and I speed post all my documents required by them at their address..its now already been more than 15 days still my E certificate is not uploaded ......can anyone one guide me what to do further.....and i m not able to understand why they have asked me only to submit the hard copies of the documents...else all my colleques have downloaded it from their log in Ids.......Plz guide me what to do further...
