Moma Merit cum means based and Post Matric Scholarships…
Students applying for Moma scholarship Renewals should submit the application on or before 15th September, 2013 for both Merit cum means based and Post Matric Scholarships. In case of fresh scholarships for the year 2013-14 students can apply online up to midnight of 30.9.2013.
To apply Moma scholarship online, visit the website www.momascholarship.gov.in. After opening the Moma site please select the name of the scholarship scheme, you wish to apply. Then go to the ‘Student Registration’ tab as appeared on the screen and register yourself for online application. After submitting the application online to the next level, you should take a print out of the same sign and send it immediately with requisite documents to the State Department after authenticating the application from your institute.
You can edit information filled by you till you submit the Moma scholarship online application to the next level. Please ensure that your hard copy reaches to the State Department. You will not be considered for scholarship if the State Department of the State to which you belong to does not receive the hard copy of your filled in online application. A list of mailing address of the Department concerned in States/UTs dealing with this scholarship scheme is provided in the home page of the website.
Who is eligible to Moma Merit cum means based scholarships?
Every year 20000 Moma scholarships on Merit cum means based will be distributed among the students of minority communities throughout the country. Students who get admission to a college to pursue technical/professional courses, on the basis of a competitive examination will be eligible for the scholarship. Students who get admission in technical/professional courses without facing any competitive examination will also be eligible for Moma scholarship. Selection of these students will be done strictly on merit basis.

Who is eligible to Moma Post Matric Scholarships?
Moma Post Matric Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.2 lakh. Moma scholarship will be provided for the entire course. However, maintenance allowance will be given for a period not exceeding 10 months only in an academic year.
