The AP government will provide new teacher training course to intermediate students who want to enter the teaching profession. After completion of Inter, four years of Integrated B.Sc, B.Ed and B.A B.Ed are preparing for access to courses. Training are also undertaken to provide teacher training to students with degree.
B.A with History, Geography, Economics and Political Science Subjects are eligible to join B.Ed course. These are four-year integrated teacher education programs. These new courses will be available from 2018-19 academic year. Degree colleges that offer B.Sc and B.A courses are also provided. The existing B.Ed and D.Ed colleges do not have this opportunity. The NCTE has been sanctioning this course from the 2015-16 academic year. These courses are already in the four Regional Institutes of Education (RIE) of the country. Degree and B.Ed syllabuses are organized by these programs.
Some of the state's educational institutions have submitted proposals to the APSCHE. Following many academic opinions regarding teacher education, the higher education board has made a principle decision on the management of these four-year integrated teaching education programs. The regulatory framework has set up a committee on the design of the syllabus.
The APSCHE committee met at the state higher education board's office on Saturday and finalized the rules for the examination for admission to the course. The entrance test will be conducted in two sectors. Part-1 includes General English, General Knowledge, Teaching Optiped, Communication Skills, Environmental Awareness. Particulars are given on the relevant content . The committee will soon be convened to prepare the syllabus and submit its report to the APSCHE in the coming month.
