APSET 2017 exam primary key will be displayed on 10th August. The final key of APSET 2017 exam will be displayed 20th August. The SET exam results will be processed as per the UGC new guidelines in August last week. APSET was conducted in 31 subjects on 30 July.
After AP bifurcation the government of Andhra Pradesh has identified Andhra University as nodal agency to conduct APSET Examination. University Grants Commission, New Delhi has granted accredation to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam for conduct of three State eligibility test (SET) Examinations during the next three years (once in a year) on behalf of the State of Andhra Pradesh in 31 Subjects.
State Eligibility Test is a eligibility test, it is conducted for recruitment as Assistant Professors/Lecturers through direct recruitment or by promotions in Universities and Degree Colleges. Candidates can also appear for the APSET in Telugu medium, wherever applicable.
- The candidates who have completed or are pursuing the final year of PG degree in related subjects are eligible to appear APSET.
- Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in the PG (for OC & BC) and 50% marks for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Physically Challenged (PH)/VH category candidates are eligible for SET.
- No upper age limit and a candidate can avail any number of chances.
